Carboguard 1340

Penetrating primer/sealer for use on concrete substrates and Carboline Pyrocrete Fireproofing products. It performs extremely well in sealing cementitious surfaces and is designed to receive a variety of different generic types of finish coats.

Some recommended uses of 1340 include the use as a curing compound or form release agent. When applied to “green” concrete it will retard the escape of moisture during the cure period.

It is also excellent for use as a form release coating on plywood or steel forms.

Firetex FX2003

Pro~Seal Intumescent Seal Coat

A single pack, fast dry sealer designed to offer weathering protection to solvent borne intumescent coatings.

Pro~Seal promotes the cure of intumescent coatings, while at the same time it provides a water barrier to prevent damage to the film.

Once cured, this seal coat reduces solvent absorption when overcoated, therefore reducing the risk of solvent entrapment.

May be overcoated with both single component finish coats and two component polyurethanes, in waterbased or solvent borne formulations.

Single powder component mixed with clean, potable water before it is used in application. Recommended uses for the fire protection of structural steel, bulkheads, and upgrading the fire resistance of any existing concrete. Southwest Type 5GP is intended for application to interior structural columns, beams, joists, decks, walls, roofs, girders, floors and pre-cast concrete units. It is tested and certified for fire resistance ratings up to 4 hours
