Altra~Zinc® 605 is a high performance, two component, reinforced  zinc-rich primer designed for use as a cathodic primer for protecting steel exposed to a variety of environments.

Altra~Zinc® 605 is an ideal, rapid dry zinc primer for use on most mild steel fabricated equipment where it's reinforced  binder system is required including:

• Heavy Machinery
• Conveyors, Pipework etc
• Structural Steel
• Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)

Limitations of Use:

• Do not topcoat with alkyd coatings
• Not suitable for solvent, chemical or fresh water immersion service

Self curing, zinc filled inorganic weldable holding primer.

A weldable inorganic zinc primer, which is both self curing and weldable. Welds made over Carboweld 11 coated steel are equal in every respect to welds joining uncoated steel prior to fabrication.

Weld spatter does not adhere to or damage the coating. Coated steel can be welded as quickly and easily as bare steel without loss in strength or consistency of the weld.

May be top coated with Carbozinc 11 and most conventional paints and coatings.

Carbozinc 11 WB is a water-based inorganic zinc rich primer that protects steel galvanically, eliminating subfilm corrosion. It meets VOC regulations while providing the proven performance of silicate zinc rich technology. It may be used as a primer under many different types of topcoats

A high-solids, zinc-filled epoxy primer for corrosion protection of structural steel in highly corrosive environments including offshore, marine and industrial. This low VOC, HAPs compliant primer has quick cure-to-topcoat characteristics for in-shop applications and quick turnaround capabilities for the field. It has excellent adhesion and undercutting resistance and is outstanding for use as a corrosion resistant primer for a variety of applications.

A very economic, two-component, high solids, zinc rich epoxy primer formulated for the protection of properly prepared steel substrates.

Carbozinc 859 EZ2 can be applied by conventional, airless, or plural component spray. Recommended where a high performance, highly corrosion resistant zinc primer is desired.

Typical applications include structural steel, tanks, piping, equipment and other miscellaneous parts in industrial, offshore or architectural projects.

Zinkex 100 is an excellent primer for chlorinated rubber and vinyl finish coats. It may be used as a “cold galvanising” coating for the repair of hot-dip galvanised surfaces.

Zinkex 100 may be left untopcoated in non-corrosive atmospheres.
