Made to Order - High performance immersion grade epoxy that is designed as a liner for potable water tanks. This coating exhibits moisture tolerance during application, low temperature cure capability, and fast cure response for quick return to service.
Product is self-priming on steel and is normally applied in two coats. Formulated for application at 120 to 180 microns DFT per coat for potable use.

Carboweld 11

Self curing, zinc filled inorganic weldable holding primer.

A weldable inorganic zinc primer, which is both self curing and weldable. Welds made over Carboweld 11 coated steel are equal in every respect to welds joining uncoated steel prior to fabrication.

Weld spatter does not adhere to or damage the coating. Coated steel can be welded as quickly and easily as bare steel without loss in strength or consistency of the weld.

May be top coated with Carbozinc 11 and most conventional paints and coatings.

Carboweld 11 is used as a preconstruction primer in shipyards and fabricating shops. It has many cost saving advantages over conventional shop primers

Thermaline Heat Shield

This is an extreme performance coating for hot, cryogenic and cycling exposures. Thermaline Heat Shield contains a unique blend of plate-like reinforcing pigments fortified with an inert polymeric matrix. The resulting film provides an outstanding barrier against corrosives and harsh exposures typically seen in elevated temperature environments. This versatile coating is ideal for all piping, vessels and equipment operating from cryogenic conditions up to 1200°F. It is particularly well suited to prevent corrosion under-insulated equipment/piping for both carbon steel substrates and stainless steels. This fortified coating has superior shop handling properties over standard silicone coatings (see Curing). It is recommended for CS-6 and SS-5 systems of NACE SP0198 Standard Practice for coatings to control corrosion under insulation (CUI).
