A high performance, immersion grade (fresh & salt water) chemically cured epoxy primer. Suitable for use over suitably prepared mild steel, galvanised steel, other non-ferrous metals, and most GRP substrates.
FEATURES:
- Excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion, including on difficult substrates
- Suitable for immersion service in water and many aqueous chemicals when topcoated with an
approved finish
- Versatile primer/tie-coat for most substrates, including inorganic zincs and high-build epoxies
- Resists abrasion, chemical splash, spillage and fumes
- Good aged recoatability with extended recoat windows for selected systems
- Easy application by brush, roller or spray, with a long pot life
- Excellent maintenance and touch-up primer for hand-cleaned steel
- Ideal for epoxy and polyurethane systems where zinc primers are unsuitable due to acidic or
alkaline exposure
- Complies with AS/NZS 3750.13 Types 1, 2 & 3
- Excellent tie-coat over high build epoxies as an extended 2-3 day recoat window with Sea~Barrier
